1:1 Coaching

Most elite athletes work with a private coach, and that is the key to their success. If you are looking for a coach for yourself, or for someone in your organization, I am happy to help.

Session Outline

My approach to coaching based on compassionate listening and creative problem solving. Together we will dissect the issue(s) you are facing and develop a plan that helps you demonstrate your success. We will meet on a consistent basis (monthly, weekly, etc.) and begin to unpack your goals and direction. Sessions can be done virtually or in-person.

On Demand Courses

If you’re looking for professional learning that you can do on your own schedule, here are our current offerings. All sessions include a voiced-over slide deck, reflective check-ins to help you capture your learning, and a certificate of completion. Sessions are approximately 2 hours in length and can be done anywhere at any pace.

Creating Writing-Centered Lessons

This session engages participants in deep thinking around what it means to embed writing in daily lessons.

Writing Across the Disciplines

Writing is a deeply important skill for all students to master. However, it rarely gets the attention it needs outside of ELA classrooms. This session is designed to give participants the background they need to break this cycle.

Project Based Literacy

This session is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the NYS Literacy Standards and to help them better apply the standards to their PBL lessons/units.

Text Analysis Outside of ELA Classrooms

What is a text? How are we to teach them in areas other than ELA classrooms? These are the two fundamental questions that underpin this session. Particpants will leave with a broader understanding of what constitutes a text and will develop their practice of combining popular culture with cannonical texts.
